Build the model, plan, board, and revenue engine your organization actually needs — in four Saturdays.
A complete Business Model Canvas or Mission Model Canvas, validated against real assumptions — not guesses.
A one-page business plan with clear ownership (RACI) that your team can actually execute, not just file away.
A board skills gap analysis and a real recruitment strategy for the specific seat you need filled next.
One revenue engine selected, pressure-tested against your real numbers, and tied back to a board decision.
Every session works for both — because the same structural gaps show up whether you’re founding something or five years into running it.
Each session builds directly on the last. Pilot sessions: Saturdays, October 24, October 31, November 7, and November 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Build your Business Model Canvas or Mission Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas — in a track for either for-profit/hybrid or mission-only organizations.
Turn your model into a one-page business plan with clear roles and ownership (RACI), so the plan actually gets executed.
Map your board’s skills gaps, draft a real recruitment strategy, and know what to look for in your next board member.
Select and pressure-test one or two revenue engines for your organization, with a clear next action and board tie-back.
4 live, in-person sessions, 3 hours each — Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Held at Florida International University’s College of Engineering & Computing, located at 10555 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33174. Room and parking details are sent after you register.

Good — this course is built for that as much as for a founder starting from zero. Established leaders use the same four sessions to audit what they already have: a stale board assignment, a revenue model still dependent on one funder, a plan nobody has revisited since launch.
Each session builds directly on the last, so missing one creates a real gap in later sessions. If you know in advance you can only make two or three, wait for the January 2027 public cohort, where you can plan to attend all four — you’ll get more out of it.
Registration for the pilot costs $60, paid when you register.
You will see a confirmation with the link to join our Google Classroom, and we will email you next steps. Room and parking details are sent before Session 1. If you have not heard from us a few days before October 24, write to us and we will sort it out.
The pilot is a $60 test run with a small group. It helps us refine the materials before the public cohort planned for January 2027. University certification is not part of the pilot. Public cohort pricing and details are announced on the waitlist page.
Yes. Session 3 works for both audiences: if you don't have a board yet, you'll leave with a profile for exactly who you need to recruit first, not a generic governance lecture.
